Emma Duncan is a freelance Food & Drink Stylist with over a decade of experience.

Based in central Scotland, Emma has worked with a wide breadth of notable luxury brands and household names, including Arran Sense of Scotland, Baxters, Bakkafrost, Simon Howie, Mowi, Nairns, Albert Bartlett, Heinz, Dromona, Dewars, Whiskeria Magazine, Jura, Highland Park, House of Hazelwood, Magners, Glengoyne, Menabrea, Smokehead Whisky, The Famous Grouse, Edinburgh Gin, Douglas Laing, QMS and Lagavulin …to name just a few.

Prior to her career as a freelance stylist, Emma studied a BA Hons Degree in Visual Communication at Edinburgh College of Art. This time at university fuelled a passion for creativity, leading to over five years of experience in management, visual merchandising and buying for a premium fashion brand throughout Scotland. This career naturally developed into a role within a design agency, with key responsibility for art directing and styling of shoots.

In 2013, due to demand from clients, Emma pursued her own freelance business, leading to a solid and respected relationship with food and drinks brands throughout the UK, and also luxury beauty brands from Scotland.

Although based in Scotland, Emma has the capacity to travel internationally. Services offered by Emma include:

  • Recipe development, including both food and cocktails

  • Sourcing glassware, crockery, props, ingredients, surfaces and backdrops

  • Preparation and cooking food

  • Food pairing (with drinks)

  • Set design and window display
